Privacy Policy
Last updated: August 20, 2025
Overview
We built Onepard to turn your text into a helpful chat page. This policy explains what we collect, why we collect it, and how you can control your data.
What we collect
- Account data (e.g., email address, name).
- Usage data (e.g., feature usage, basic analytics).
- Content you add: plain text you paste into your knowledge bases. We do not fetch from the wider web.
- Support communications (e.g., emails you send us).
How we use data
- To provide and improve Onepard’s features.
- To secure the service and prevent abuse.
- To respond to support requests.
- To understand aggregate usage (not individual conversations).
Analytics & Cookies
We use trusted analytics and measurement tools to understand how people use Onepard and to improve the product:
- Google Analytics (GA4) — helps measure page views and events.
- Meta Pixel — helps measure the effectiveness of our ads.
These tools may set cookies or read device identifiers to provide aggregated, non-identifying statistics (e.g., pages visited, device type, approximate location). We don’t sell your personal data.
You can control cookies in your browser. Google offers an opt-out add-on at https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout. You can manage Meta ad preferences at https://www.facebook.com/adpreferences/.
Legal basis (EEA/UK/CH)
Where required, we rely on your consent for analytics/advertising cookies. You can change your preference via your browser or any cookie controls we provide.
Data retention for analytics
We keep analytics data for the period configured in each tool (for example, GA4 is commonly set to up to 14 months). We review and minimize retention where practical.
Your content & chat
Onepard answers only from the content you add to your project. We don’t use your content to train models for other customers.
Data sharing
We don’t sell your data. We may use trusted service providers (e.g., hosting, analytics) who process data on our behalf under strict agreements.
Data retention & deletion
We retain data while your account is active. You can request export or deletion of your account and content by contacting hello@onepard.com.
Security
We use industry-standard practices to protect your data. No method is 100% secure, but we continuously work to safeguard information.
International users
By using Onepard, you understand your data may be processed in regions where we or our providers operate and that protections may differ from your jurisdiction.
Children
Onepard isn’t intended for children under 13 (or the minimum age in your country). If we learn we’ve collected such data, we’ll delete it.
Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. We’ll change the date above and, when appropriate, notify you in-app or via email.
