Check access to Webflow’s Custom code settings

Webflow lets eligible sites add extra website code in Site settings. Its current documentation permits this with an active Site plan or a Core, Growth, Agency, or Freelancer Workspace. Site managers and Designers need permission to change code on the site.

Check the plan and role on the actual site you want to update. A Workspace plan and a Site plan cover different parts of Webflow. If Custom code is unavailable, review the current Webflow requirements linked below before changing your subscription.

Onepard runs the assistant and gives you a small piece of website code to place in Webflow. Prepare accurate public pages about your offerings. You can add extra pasted information after setting up the assistant with your website address.

Prepare the assistant in Onepard

  1. Add your published website

Open Get started, enter the published Webflow website address where visitors will use the assistant, and sign in. Select your business in the dashboard. A business started with pasted information only can use its shareable chat page, with no dashboard setting to add a website later.

  2. Check ready information and answers

Use Business information to review page statuses. Once information is ready, open Chat settings and select Open your chat. Try questions about your services, prices, and a common policy. Correct missing or unclear details before sharing the assistant.

  3. Choose a layout and copy the code

Under Add it to your website, choose Corner chat bubble or Bottom chat box and select Copy. Keep the complete code, including the business and layout details it contains.

Save the code and publish your Webflow site

  1. Open the site-wide code area

In Webflow, open Site settings, then the Custom code tab. Find Footer code. This area adds the code before the end of each page, across the site.

  2. Paste your Onepard code

Add one complete copy to Footer code, keeping any existing code in place. Select Save changes.

  3. Publish to the intended website

Publish the site to the domain your visitors use. Webflow’s saved code becomes available to visitors after publication. Open that public URL in a private browser window to check the result.

Check the assistant on real visitor pages

Open the assistant on your homepage and ask a question. Then move to a service or course page and ask about the offering shown there. Check that replies, pictures, and any links match your published information. Onepard can answer from ready information while additional pages are still being read.

Repeat this on a phone, including opening and closing chat and typing a longer message. Webflow sites often have fixed menus or contact buttons, so check those alongside the assistant. If enquiries are part of your setup, send a labelled test request, review the form, and check the saved request in Enquiries.

Troubleshoot the published result

These instructions follow Webflow’s documentation checked on 7 November 2026. Verify the result on your published site, including how the assistant works alongside your design and other website code.

  • The assistant is missing everywhere. Confirm Footer code was saved and the latest version was published to the domain you opened.
  • Chat says it is unavailable on this website. Test on the published website address entered during setup. A Webflow preview, temporary address, or different website may not be accepted.
  • It appears only on one page. Move the code to Footer code in Site settings so it applies across your website.
  • The wrong business appears. Copy fresh code from the correct business in Onepard’s Chat settings and replace the previous Onepard code.
  • It works in one browser only. Check browser extensions and website security rules that may block third-party website code.
